LEHA members,
Please see the email below from our trash removal service. LEHA members were unable to follow the rules for bagging trash and recycling. As a result, our trash removal service CANCELED the contract.
Until further notice, there we be NO TRASH PICKUP at the LEHA common lot or on Shore Road.
All LEHA members will need to take their trash to the Readfield Transfer Station. The LEHA board will consider alternative providers and make a recommendation to membership ahead of the annual meeting in July.

Subject: Termination of contract
Date: February 26, 2026 at 11:51:22 AM EST
We will no longer be picking up trash for you guys. Due to many things that were agreed upon on the contract and numerous notifications to fix the issues and it’s still not fixed.
Numerous bags still being untied a few boxes, not being broken down and trash still being put in the recyclables.
I will be sending out the bill here shortly
